Psychedelic Medicine Ceremonies

A private and immersive journey tailored for individuals seeking a profound integrative healing experience supported by Psilocybin, MDMA, or Kanna in a legal and safe setting.

When we surrender to the transformative potential of psychedelics within a safe and sacred container, remarkable transformations can occur.

In today's resurgence of interest in psychedelics, there are many avenues for exploring altered states of consciousness. However, not all environments are safe or conducive to the experience. It's crucial to approach medicine allies with respect and care, thoughtfully preparing ourselves for the journey and intentionally integrating the insights gained.

I am a Western-trained medical doctor who experienced profound healing and liberation through the responsible use of psychedelics and plant medicines. With my integrative expertise and personal wisdom, I create ceremony spaces where you can feel safe and supported, enabling you to fully embrace the spiritual journey and experience transformation.

Ceremony Roadmap

To support an ethical, safe, and effective experience, all individuals who are approved for a medicine ceremony will be guided through the following sequence by Dr. Lida Fatemi:

Learn.

To begin creating a relationship with your chosen medicine, you will gain a foundational understanding of its history and origins, as well as its therapeutic potential. You will also begin familiarizing yourself with Conscious Life Practices that will aid your preparation, experience, and integration.

Prepare.

Together, we will consider what “safe” and “supportive” mean to you. We will determine essential elements and individual preferences for creating the ideal set and setting. You will implement Conscious Life Practices daily and we will work together to develop or refine intentions (vs expectations) for your experience.

Experience.

You will embark on an immersive 3-day journey of rest, reflection, and profound self-exploration, guided by Dr. Fatemi. Within this safe and sacred container, you will be free to surrender to the transformative potential of psychedelics, play, create, and explore your internal landscape.

Integrate.

Before returning home (Day 3), we will begin your integration process. Alongside ongoing Conscious Life Practices, we will craft personalized action steps to integrate the insights garnered from your psychedelic journey, nurturing profound personal growth and fostering lasting holistic healing. This process will continue once you return home.

Start your journey with a complimentary discovery call.

All individuals who are interested in a medicine ceremony must schedule a 30-minute face-to-face call. During this call, we will discuss your needs, desires, and any potential concerns (including medical contraindications) to determine a good match.

Which integrative healing ally is right for you?

  • Psilocybin is the psychoactive and transformative compound found in certain species of mushrooms. Revered for centuries in indigenous cultures, psilocybin offers a pathway to profound insights and emotional healing. By interacting with serotonin receptors in the brain, psilocybin facilitates introspection and fosters a deep connection with one's inner self. In the therapeutic setting, guided psilocybin sessions have shown remarkable efficacy in addressing conditions like depression, anxiety, and addiction. When approached with respect, reciprocity, and intention and supported by preparation and integration, psilocybin can support us in unlocking new dimensions of personal growth and healing.

  • Known for its empathogenic and entactogenic effects, MDMA fosters profound emotional openness, exploration, and interpersonal connection. Through its interaction with neurotransmitters like serotonin and oxytocin, MDMA creates a conducive environment for profound healing and transformation. During MDMA-assisted sessions, individuals often experience heightened empathy and compassion, allowing them to approach their own experiences and those of others with newfound understanding and insight. This enhanced empathetic state can facilitate the exploration of challenging emotions and traumatic memories, leading to significant breakthroughs in healing and self-awareness. MDMA is appropriate for individual and couples’ healing work.

  • Kanna, scientifically known as Sceletium tortuosum, is a succulent plant native to South Africa, traditionally used by indigenous communities for its mood-enhancing and stress-relieving properties. It contains alkaloids that interact with GABA receptors and the serotonin system, promotes a sense of emotional balance and well-being but also holds the potential to induce subtle yet profound shifts in consciousness, offering individuals a gentle entry into states of heightened awareness and introspection. Kanna offers a pathway towards heart-opening experiences and deep emotional connection. Its gentle yet potent effects make it particularly well-suited for individual and couples' work, providing a supportive framework for exploring emotions, enhancing communication, and fostering intimacy.

Who can participate in a ceremony?

Individuals | Friends | Family | Couples

Private ceremonies are limited to a max of two individuals. For those who desire to journey alongside another individual, preparation and integration will occur individually and together, according to the goals determined during intake. If you desire a joint journey, please be sure both individuals are present during the initial complementary discovery call.

Where and how long are ceremonies?

Location and time commitment vary.

Medicines are served where they are legal; specific location will be discussed during the discovery call or intake. You will need to block off at least 3-4 days for a ceremony – day one: travel and preparation, day two: ceremony, and day three: rest and integration (possibly travel), day four: return home. The length of each ceremony varies depending on the medicine, typically lasting between 3 to 6 hours.

Who am I?

I’m an immigrant, trauma survivor, and Western-trained doctor who healed through Eastern practices and plant medicine.

I lived under the terrorist regime of Iran for the first 14 years of my life, and I lived in an active war for my first 8 years. These experiences left me clinging to memories and beliefs that hindered my growth into adulthood. Upon arriving in the U.S., Upon arriving in the states, I relished the freedom to pursue education without fear for my life or female oppression.

My academic journey eventually led me to medical school. I experienced tremendous success during my residency, but couldn't ignore the systemic flaws within the medical field, particularly the prevalent burnout among physicians nationwide, a struggle I also faced.

My journey reached a breaking point as I grappled with unresolved trauma, the challenges of motherhood, and the toll of medical practice. Conventional medicine failed to provide the answers I sought, leading me to explore alternative paths. I began microdosing psilocybin and meditating, and from this journey emerged the Conscious Physician Method—a unique fusion of Conscious Life Practices and Psilocybin coaching.

No longer suffering from burnout, I became a trailblazer in the psychedelic movement, dedicating over a decade to educating others on the symbiosis of psychedelics and medicine, well before its recent resurgence. Now, I share my transformative practices with a global audience, reaching physicians, therapists, healthcare professionals, and executives, as well as indigenous and marginalized communities in New Mexico. Everyone deserves the opportunity to heal and thrive.
